Glass roving optimized for acrylic composites

A new glass roving specifically designed and formulated for acrylic resins allows for the manufacture and production of glass reinforced PMMA (polymethyl methacrylate) thermoplastic composites.

From 3B-the fibreglass company (Battice, Belgium), the roving employs E-CR glass, which is an alumino-lime silicate with less than one weight-percent of alkali oxides that exhibits high acid resistance.
