Date set for NPE2012 booth space drawing

For companies that will exhibit at NPE2012, the show starts long before opening day. January 12-14, 2011 has just been set for the booth Space Draw by the show's organizer SPI, and naturally the drawing will take place at NPE's new venue-Orlando, FL. And there are several deadlines to be met before the drawing takes place. Read on.

In announcing the date for the space draw, SPI's VP for trade shows Gene Sanders noted that being in Orlando in January, as opposed to Chicago, already counts as a benefit of the new venue. The drawing will provide the opportunity for exhibitors to tour the Orange County Convention Center where NPE2012 will take place, and will also showcase the city of Orlando, SPI, and the NPE2012 service providers.

The SPI has a block of rooms on hold at the Rosen Shingle Creek Hotel & Conference Center for those attending the drawing ($128/night+ tax). Reservations can be made by calling (866) 996-6338 or online. Mention " NPE Space Draw". Cut-off date for reservations is January 3, 2011.

April 16, 2010: NPE2012 pre-draw exhibit space contract sent by email to SPI Members with a 15 and higher show history.

April 30, 2010: Deadline for challenges to NPE show history (notifications mailed March 25, 2010)

May 14, 2010: Deadline for NPE2012 pre-draw exhibit space contract submission to participate in pre-draw event (SPI Members with a 15 and higher show history only)

June 1, 2010: NPE2012 exhibit space contract available online at www.npe.org .

June/July 2010: NPE2012 pre-draw space selections (via phone/internet appointment) .

November 30, 2010: Deadline for NPE2012 exhibit space contract and deposit submission to participate in the January Space Draw lottery.
