Newly formed Patmian acquires Dickten Masch Plastics
Published: April 20th, 2010
Dickten Masch Plastics (DMP), which operates two plants in Nashotah, WI, offering thermoplastic and thermoset manufacturing, and a third factory in Ankeny, IA that provides thermoplastic manufacturing services, has been acquired by a new privately held company, Patmian LLC, based in New York, NY.
DMP employs about 300 people and expects that number to grow in 2010 as company capabilities are expanded and a new product line is introduced that the company says is a foundation for future growth. Steve Dyer, DMP president/CEO made the announcement. The company's previous owner, The Everett Smith Group (Milwaukee, WI), has owned DMP for the past five years, and said it was selling the company to pursue other strategic initiatives.
Dyer said the Patmian Group is committed to the success of its businesses, and in particular to supporting the initiatives critical to DMP's continuing success. DMP serves a wide range of industry sectors and recently became a Tier One automotive industry supplier. Dyer said, "We are confident that with their support, we can build on our momentum to take DMP to the next level." —immeditorial@cancom.com
