Plastics processors interested in learning how to evaluate the market and make strategic buying decisions about resin—and get market updates along with a 30-, 60- and 90-day action plan and resin strategy—may want to consider attending the RTi Resin Pricing Forum in Fort Worth, TX on June 8-10. Topics include strategies for saving on the cost of a host of commonly processed resins, plus negotiating tips and outlooks for a number of materials.

The Forum, organized by Resin Technology Incorporated (RTi), will be held at the Renaissance Worthington Hotel in downtown Fort Worth. Opening the event is Bill Carteaux, president and CEO of the Society of the Plastics Industry (SPI; Washington, DC), who will speak on the state of the industry.

This RTi Forum includes sessions led by RTi's purchasing and resin experts on topics such as polyethylene and polypropylene resin savings; engineering resins/PS and PVC resin savings; negotiating/best practices; and market updates on different plastics.

Registration at the Forum is $500; reservations can be made by contacting Ella Benton at +1 866-733-8383, or via email at: ebenton@resinpros.com.

RTi’s Bill Bowie also fields questions on resin pricing via our homepage, PlasticsToday.com. Look for the "Ask The Experts" icon in the upper left-hand corner of the page. mpweditorial@cancom.com
