Plastic mold injection
Plastic mold injection involves heating and high-pressure injection of a thermoplastic into a water-cooled mold. A thermoplastic contains properties that allow it to soften when heated and harden again when cooled. Polystyrene, a rigid material used by AMT to mold model kit parts, is one such plastic. The mold injection process applied to producing model kits has several advantages over other methods. The thermally durable qualities of the polystyrene and quick-cooling manner of the injection technique make it extremely time- efficient. The time required to complete one mold, or "shot," can be measured in mere seconds. The curing time for the thermosetting method employed by many resin kit manufacturers can span minutes if heat cured, or hours if cold cured. The time-consuming nature of the cold method makes it ill-suited to a it manufacturer who needs to produce large quantities of plastic parts over a relatively short time span.

The design flaws, such as:
The design flaws, such as: poor location of the gate, the gate is too small, multi-gate parts runner arranged asymmetry, small flow, mold cooling system is unreasonable to make too much difference in mold temperature, etc. caused by melt flow in the mold cavity is not continuous, blocked air passage. lack the necessary mold parting surface of the exhaust or exhaust channel pore lack of congestion, poor location, and no inserts, ejector exhaust like the processing of the gap, resulting cavity in the air can not enter the time in the plastic At the same time to leave. The difference between the mold surface roughness, friction large, resulting in local hot spots, so that by the plastic decomposition. 12 refers to the MFI (MI)
12 refers to the MFI (MI) which is the melt flow index. Clarified is just that. What you probably have is a polypropylene (PP) that is clarified or made clear through additives.
Keep on Molding!
