I hear that some people use aluminium Tools which use the the aluminium instead of steel for moldbase and CAV, bacause the aluminium is easier manufacture and polish, better  heat transmission comparede with steel.Maybe you will also worry that the hardness of the aluminium is not as strong as steel. but it's said one aluminium named 7075 is harder that steel with which the mold life can also reach 200,00 or more.so what's your opionions ? is aluminium is popular in your country?

BTW, i'm working on the tooling industry in shenzhen, china, glad to ex-change some opinions and makes friend from all the world:

I am curious to know if Aluminum can be hardened like steel or not.

I did read one article where it said that it can be hardened by some coating. I have attached article for reference.

Ive been working with China

Ive been working with China moldmakers for over 15 years now, Keep in mind that the mold will be cheap and you need to make sure they have water lines,Heat rods in there molds. They are still kinda stuck in the 1950 ways of making injection molds. Just stay on top of what they are doing and things will work out fine.
