Design of Polstyrene Cup

Hi everyone,
I have a school project. I need to design a polystyrene drinking cup that is used for hot beverages. I should consider many criteria like thickness of the cup, the stress created when the force is applied to hold the cup, the temperature effect etc. Do you have any idea about the calculations or could you please help me to improve my design ??
