Colder mold temp, lower melt

Colder mold temp, lower melt temp, lower pack and hold pressure all help......But I need to ask you some questions: Is the gloss level even across the entire part? Is the mold surface grained with a low gloss grain? If the grain is uneven, then you need to finish packing the part to lower the gloss. More melt temp and some increase in mold temp should help the gate stay open longer allowing you to finish packing the part. If the mold doesn't have a low gloss grain, more mold temp will increase the gloss. if it does, a higher mold temp will help fully replicate the low gloss grain structure of the mold surface. Hope this helps, Rick.
