Where should the tip hieght sit in relation to the gate on a hot runner mold?
Should the tip pertrude throught the gate into the part or sit flush with the gate?
This is a 128 cavity hot runner tool that uses hot tips. The tips are in drops of 4 with half of the body of the tip screwed in to a manifold pod.
Is the any manufacturers that have a particuler preference?

Hi H430,
The tip should not protrude into yhe cavity in HOT condition. The hot runner supplier should provide you this information once you purchase a system from them.
