Hello all,

I am in the process of designing a new clean room and I require the total heat loading for a particular machine model. That is the full heat loading tha the machine emmits when running under normal conditions. This is required for the design of the air nadling systems associated with clean rooms. Neither the machine tool supplier nor the clean room component manufacturer is able to assist by they are the only option at this point in time ????? Is anyone able to assist with eother a calculation or rule of thumb?
Thanks,
dequity11

Thank you!

Thank you!

Look at the number and

Look at the number and wattage of the heaters on the barrel. Assume they will do nothing but heat the air - this will compensate for the heat from the material, motor etc.etc. Add in a 40% factor. There's your heat in Kcals or BTUs

Hope this helps
