Screw extruder backflow

Hi all,
I am planning to manufacture a screw extruder with a 50 micron nozzle connected to the outlet bore. The material to be extruded is polycaprolactone(pcl). The screw length is roughly 15 cm. How to make sure that this won't have backflow when pressure is exerted, since the nozzle diameter is too small? Is there any software that can help me to find any backflow problems, can ansys polyflow be used?

Also, do you think instead of the normal design of the screw, a tapered screw or step screw would be better suited to prevent backflow?

Thanks!

Are you trying to say that

Are you trying to say that you will make an injection unit?
If you cannot tolerate ANY backflow, then you don't a Non Return Valve (NRV)

Use a "Sodick" type system with screw plunger.

If you are truly making an extruder then why a "nozzle"?

Be careful of thermal degradation of the PCL.

Keep on molding or extruding!
