Arburg expands electric offerings

Arburg (Lossburg, Germany) is continuing to enhance and expand its electric Alldrive machine series with the debut of two new additions. The Allrounder 270 A is the smallest size in Arburg’s range of electric machines. This model has a tiebar clearance of 270 by 270 mm, a clamping force of 350 kN, and an injection unit with a maximum shot weight of 21g of PS.

At the upper end of the machine scale, molders are offered the Allrounder 720 A. Specifications include a maximum clamping force of 3200 kN and a maximum shot weight of 434g of PS. The electric Allrounder A is now available in six sizes in all: 270 A, 370 A, 470 A, 520 A, 570 A, and 720 A. The main axes are servodriven, while auxiliary axes can be moved electrically or hydraulically to suit requirements. stephen.moore@cancom.com
