Pfeiffer Vacuum Inc. (Nashua, NH) has introduced ThermoStar GSD320, dubbed as the new standard in bench-top thermal analysis-mass spectrometry (TA-MS). ThermoStar has a 20% smaller footprint than the previous offering, and operates 10 times faster to boot. It also features Quadera, a new and more intuitive software tool, and fast Ethernet connectivity for easy network integration. This new mass spectrometer is said to provide continuous analysis of evolving gasses with unrivaled detection limits.
