This thermoforming tooling manufacturer has introduced the patent-pending Flimsy-Lid Cut (FLC), a mold concept for the production of very thin polypropylene plastic lids on steel-rule cutting tools with large forming areas. In the past, steel-rule cutting typically saw use only in (thicker) tray processing. The FLC development allows processors to use their steel-rule cutting tools on sheet as thin as 0.25-0.6 mm.
