3D printing: Showstoppers of RAPID 2015 (Airwolf 3D)

Sandy, the Materials Girl, modeled a 3D-printed dress and shoes, handbag, lipstick case, earrings, phone case and sunglasses at this week's RAPID 2015 show in Long Beach, CA. Materials include polycarbonate/nylon, copper/stainless-steel fill, and ABS/TPU/TPE (the dress and wristlet purse).

The display was presented by 3D printer maker Airwolf 3D.

It was not all fun and games at RAPID 2015, however. Thieves stole almost everything from the Linear Mold & Engineering booth the night before the show opened.
