A pet project of the CEO of Forecast 3D (Carlsbad, CA), this motorized bicycle with several 3D-printed parts has become a mainstay at the company's booth.
Among the 3D-printed parts are the motor assembly, which is made of a polycarbonate/ABS blend, and the battery pack molded from Eastman Chemical's Ultem 9085. The colorful grips were 3D-printed on a Connex 3 printer from Stratasys.
Established in 1994, Forecast 3D provides a full range of 3D printing, rapid machining and tooling services.
