The number one plastics and rubber show in Asia and number two in the world, according to show organizers, Chinaplas 2015 will host an array of concurrent events to help industry professionals keep pace with market trends. Organized by Adsale Exhibition Services Ltd. at the China Import & Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou from May 20 to 23, Chinaplas will spotlight three events: Design x Innovation, Industrial Automation—Robot Parade & Smart Production and the Medical Plastics Conference.
At Design x Innovation, the show organizer and BASF, the world's leading chemical company, join forces to demonstrate how plastics combined with creative design can provide sustainable and innovative solutions that solve real customer problems. The event will showcase well-designed industrial products including auto parts, construction products, consumer goods and apparel made from BASF-developed advanced materials. An open forum dedicated to design and innovation will be chaired by internationally recognized engineers and product designers. Design x Innovation will be featured at booth A21 in hall 13.2 and at the viewing deck outside hall 9.3 in zone B.

The Industrial Automation Zone in hall 4.2 will feature robotics, automation systems and peripherals, remote control systems, drives, sensors, software and related technologies that can automate production lines and make them smarter and more efficient. Global market leaders including ABB, Wittmann Battenfeld, Honeywell, Rockwell, Siemens, Mitsubishi Electric and Shini will be in the zone. A live demonstration, Robot Parade and Smart Production, will illustrate the functionality, precision and flexibility of robotics, as well as the advantages that automation technologies can bring to manufacturing.
The two-day Medical Plastics Conference on May 21 and 22 will explore a range of hot topics such as new developments in global and regional markets and special requirements for polymer production, molding technologies and packaging, with a view to unlocking business potential for market players. Leading materials and technologies providers, influential associations and research organizations will unveil breakthroughs, analyze market trends and share experiences on product design. Healthcare brands will share their product development success stories. The conference is free of charge, and is designed to provide a focused platform where suppliers and engineers from medical device manufacturers, OEMs and end users can share news and network with professionals.
