GeKu (Diepenau, Germany) and its parent company Hahn Group (Reinheim, Germany) have established a subsidiary of Hahn Robotics in northern Germany to support injection molders. Visitors to K 2019 can see how this collaborative robotics technology can help them at stand E 61 in hall 10.
For about a quarter of a century, plastics manufacturing has benefited from GeKu’s automation of complex injection molding processes as well as its automation and handling solutions. The founding of the subsidiary company in Diepenau, Germany, under the management of Thorsten Gerling, Managing Director of GeKu, enables an expansion of its offerings with the integration of collaborative and industrial robot systems. With a total investment of €1.5 million, GeKu and Hahn Robotics will continue to serve the growing needs of the automation industry.
“We are looking forward to being able to offer the plastics industry even more flexible and future-oriented solutions,” said Gerling. “Through the cooperation within the Hahn Group, we have already recognized numerous trends and are working on the goal-oriented implementation of solutions for the needs of our customers and partners.”
