Auto interior supplier Mitchell Plastics is opening a 155,000-sq-ft injection molding and painting plant in Queretaro, with construction underway and operations expected to begin in March 2014. Mitchell Plastics believes the new plant will employ 350 full-time workers once it's fully operational.Peter Gibb, VP Sales and Marketing for Mitchell said in a release  that the new facility gives the company "an ideal location and will allow us to improve our support to our current customers while opening new opportunities for future growth in Mexico."

Established in 1997, Mitchell Plastics is a privately held company with more than 1600 employees. Current locations include corporate headquarters, Ultra Manufacturing, and Ultra Tools in Ontario. It has U.S. production sites in Alabama and Indiana, with a sales/engineering office in Michigan.
