A new line of adiabatic coolers developed by auxiliary equipment maker Frigel is designed to respond to the twin imperatives of sustainability and energy efficiency. The LDK coolers are the first step in extending the proven Ecodry platform to new industries and applications, said Frigel.
Adiabatic cooling plays a key role in technology conversion, especially related to cooling tower replacement, said the Florence, Italy–based company. “The operational parameters of the LDK provide a significant advantage compared to other solutions,” said CEO Duccio Dorin. “Its modular design will be an excellent fit for a range of requests, both in the industries we have been serving as well as in new areas. We are proud to engineer a more efficient and sustainable industry.”
The LDK line reportedly increases operational efficiency and reduces water consumption while meeting high capacity demands in challenging industrial environments.
Frigel Group develops process cooling and temperature control technologies for the plastics and rubber industry, among other sectors. In addition to Italy, it operates production sites in India and Thailand.
