Bauer Plastics Technology Group (Shelby Township, MI) will debut the new Bauer N2IT at NPE 2015, booth W-1782. The N2IT combines a nitrogen generator, high-pressure nitrogen compressor and nitrogen process control unit in one portable package, said Rick Goralski, Business Development Manager.
For gas injection technology (GIT) processors, the N2IT promises to be a game-changer, according to Bauer. The system will produce, compress and store enough nitrogen for most GIT process applications.
To achieve the most precise GIT process control available to the industry, Bauer has developed True Track Ramping, which allows the processor to increase or decrease the gas pressure at any rate desired and eliminates unnecessary pressure stages.
“We have been working on this project for many years. This type of solution will simplify the entire process and level the playing field for small molders,” said Goralski.
