Bottle Grinder Designed To Reduce Dust And Fines
Foremost Machine Builders has introduced a line of bottle grinders for use mostly with blowmolded HDPE containers. Units have a high-shear type rotor that is said to eliminate the dragging of bottles against the chamber. Dust and fines are also reduced. Grinders come with three throat sizes: 18 x 14 in., 16 x 20 in. and 24 x 24 in. A newly designed air separator hopper accepts material from up to four 10-in. ducts. This hopper is designed to prevent the formation of the angel hair created by many of the cyclonic expanded metal hoppers used on other grinders.
