As one cleanroom achieves ISO 13485, MGS Group is building another

As MGS Mfg. Group recently announced that the ISO Class 8 cleanroom facility in its Antioch, IL location has received ISO 13485 certification for design and manufacture of medical devices, construction was well along at yet another Class 8 cleanroom at the company's Germantown, WI headquarters location.

John Berg, director of marketing at MGS, said the combination of the certification of one cleanroom and construction of another "...demonstrates the long-term commitment the company is making to provide a full range of manufacturing services to the medical and healthcare industries."

MGS, in addition to its cleanroom medical molding, also supplies other also supplies molds and industrial machinery, among other engineered manufacturing solutions.  Both the Antioch and Germantown MGS facilities have previously received upgrades to ISO 9001:2008, and having both those qualifications, says Berg, supports continued growth for MGS in the medical market.
