TimberTech launches multi-width polymer decking line

TimberTechTimberTech, a manufacturer of premium polymer decking, launched its latest decorative products in the TimberTech AZEK portfolio designed for outdoor living spaces. In addition to standard-width deck boards, the Vintage Collection now offers new wide and narrow widths. This gives homeowners the opportunity to customize their decks with boards in a variety of sizes, styles and colors.

Featuring a distinct, wire-brushed, low-gloss texture and six dynamic colors, TimberTech AZEK’s Vintage Collection now comes in three widths: 3.5-inch narrow, 5.5-inch standard and 7.25-inch wide sizes. The narrow deck boards provide a look reminiscent of coastal Cape Cod while the wide planks allow homeowners to think big, said the company. Mixing widths adds dimension to a deck that can be subtle or dramatic.

“These three widths can be used in almost any combination to create an extensive range of designs and patterns on a deck,” said Patrick Barnds, Senior Vice President of Product Management, AZEK Building Products (Chicago). “From a classic all-narrow or all-wide look to geometrically complex herringbone patterns, the only limits are the imagination of the designer and homeowner.”

TimberTech AZEK capped polymer boards are extremely low maintenance and resistant to mold, mildew and moisture damage. Additionally the Vintage Collection features Allow Armour Technology, a proprietary capping material engineered for additional surface protection.

“We are excited to be among the first to bring the design versatility of indoor flooring to the outdoors,” said Jesse Singh, CEO of AZEK Co. “The launch of our multi-width decking is a pivotal evolution for our company and the industry. We’re giving customers the option to go against the grain, think beyond the traditional planking everyone else has. Contractors also have the opportunity to get creative while continuing to deliver the ultimate in durability to their customers.”
