IPACK-IMA (March 24-28, 2009; Fiera Milano, Milan, Italy), which is now collocated with Grafitalia, Converflex, and Plast, is stressing international flavor and industry integration for its next event. Held every three years, the last event in 2006 saw 25% of its attendees come from outside Italy, originating from 124 countries. The organizer, IPACK-IMA Spa has undertaken road shows in Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco, UAE, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Serbia, and Turkey to draw interest, with 120 international buyers from 24 national delegations already confirmed—twice as many as the last edition, according to IPACK-IMA. The 2006 edition featured 1500 exhibitors and around 50,000 visitors.
