Clean-oil control

Article-Clean-oil control

Easier operation monitoring and more effective troubleshooting of possible oil filtration problems with United Air Specialists? (UAS; Colwyn, PA) Kleentek electrostatic oil cleaning systems are now possible with the company?s new control panel. It features a text display that shows key operating conditions, such as motor amperage and oil dwell time.

An optional oil temperature monitor helps protect system components from potential damage caused by sustained high oil temperatures. Hot oil also can be an indicator of overall machine health, according to the company.

The new panel also easily informs the operator of an error by displaying the cause of the error in text, rather than in a numeric code, and by activating a flashing alarm on top of the UAS/Kleentek system?s enclosure. The control unit also can be connected to a PLC control to relay the alarm signal.

The new control board has a NEMA 4 rating, and an optional enclosure heater helps ensure uninterrupted operation in cool environments. UAS/ Kleentek systems electrostatically draw contaminants of all particle sizes out of hydraulic oil. Filtering volumes range up to 10,000 gal.?CK
