HES-mix is an innovative building material made from hemp shivs, lime, natural minerals and water. It is used to build walls and insulation in one material and as insulation under roofs, attics, walls and floors.

The material offers the advantage of the highest thermal efficiency; it regulates humidity, does not burn or rot, 30-50% reduction of energy in houses and buildings, no toxic chemicals, offers an alkaline in-door climate, captures more carbon than necessary for the complete process, is completely recyclable, fast & economical application.

The curing problems associated with the use of hydrated lime have been solved by using natural minerals as additives, while the lime content has been reduced by 50%.
