Plasticizers offer heat, light stability in vinyl compounds

A new line of liquid epoxy plasticizers reportedly provides high performance in various applications. Drapex plasticizers provide heat and light stability in vinyl compounds. Drapex 4.4 is an epoxidized octyl tallate that imparts low-temperature flexibility and heat and light stability. It also provides vinyl plastisol and organosol formulations with low initial viscosity and extended viscosity stability.

Drapex 6.8 offers optimum heat and light costabilizing performance and coplastification in vinyl compounds. Drapex 10.4 is an FDA grade that provides non-toxic vinyl compounds with optimal heat stabilization and minimal stabilizer content, making it suitable for medical products.
