A more user-friendly interface and optimized real-time functionalities are features of the next-generation CoMo Injection Type 2869B real-time process control and monitoring system with Version 2.0 software from Kistler Instrument Corp. (Amherst, NY). Real-time cascading control of the needle sensors now can be activated by a pressure signal. The needles also can be activated by a timed signal, either on an absolute or differential basis.

In conjunction with an optional 12.1-inch TFT color touch-screen interface, the system provides repeatable process control, plus integral multichannel cabling for Kistler’s pressure and temperature sensors. In combination with the company’s CoMo MIS and integral Curve Viewer module, Kistler now offers everything from sensors, connection systems, process control, and monitoring through to process data storage, documentation, and analysis in an integrated, uncomplicated, and flexibly scalable form. -CK
