Traditionally recognized as a provider of wide-bed continuous and cut sheet thermoforming equipment, Brown Machine LLC has integrated many state-of-the-art technical advancements into its latest machine, the VersaForm, to address the production needs of global plastic thermoforming companies. This new machine can be seen at the K Show in Hall 3, Stand G86.
Available in FT (Form/Trim) and FTS (Form/Trim/Stack) versions with a mold area of 762 x 570 mm (30.0 x 22.4 inches), both include two trimming methods: form/cut-in-place with a standard of 40 tons of trim force (an option of 70 tons), and form with independent trim capabilities offering 70 tons of trim force. This new line has been specifically engineered to meet the production requirements in Europe, Russia, Latin America, South America, Pacific Rim, and Middle East markets.
With the global demand for thermoformed products expanding in food packaging, medical packaging, retail packaging and many other sectors, VersaForm is designed and scaled for global customers’ application requirements including quicker tooling changeovers and faster production set-up times; metric dimensions and metric fasteners; and shut-height dimensions to accommodate existing mold packages.
Bryan Redman, Brown Machine president, stated, “We carefully studied the equipment needs of various market segments outside the United States. The outcome led to the development of a thermoforming system that employs more global methods, addresses the scale of production, and incorporates service and maintenance acceptability. Brown Machine is proud to introduce the VersaForm model, which incorporates our highest technologies and meets the needs of the worldwide marketplace.”
