Milacron's 2013 Open House to advance industry dialogue

At the company's 2013 Open House (April 24-25; Batavia OH), Milacron hopes to do more than just highlight its latest technology solutions. The manufacturer will also be featuring presentations from Bemis Manufacturing Co. and Mold-Masters, in addition to its own technical speakers, plant tours and machine demonstrations, to foster dialogue about both the technology and business issues facing the plastics industry.

With duplicate morning and afternoon presentations on both days, Milacron will facilitate being able to see the presentations and tour the facilities as conveniently as possible. Among the topics covered by the presentations are:

  • Multicomponent technologies
  • Automotive: Lightweighting and cost reduction
  • Managing your energy costs—sustainable innovation in injection molding
  • The world of screw design technology
  • Fleet maintenance
  • Capital equipment financing

"Along with several industry-leading partners, we’ve developed these presentations to address some of the most pressing issues confronting the American plastics industry today,” Dave Lawrence, president of Milacron Plastics Technologies said in a release. “This will be a great opportunity for processors to share ideas that can drive future success.”

Dean Roberts, president of Milacron Aftermarket, said: “The goal of our event is to not only discuss issues, but to present practical solutions through open dialogue and collaboration. We’re determined to work together and help our manufacturing customers be more productive, efficient and competitive.”

The open house will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days. To see details or register, go to:
