Oscar Bernardi has joined blown and cast film extrusion line manufacturer Gloucester Engineering (Gloucester, MA) as its regional sales director, responsible for Eastern Europe and the Middle East. Bernardi has more than 35 years of experience in the plastics industry; most recently he was the international sales manager for Gloucester competitor Macchi. Bernardi is based in Italy.

LyondellBasell Industries (Rotterdam, Netherlands) named Ed Dineen its chief operating officer on March 18. Dineen was most recently president of LyondellBasell's Chemicals division and has been with the company and its predecessors for more than 30 years.

Geoffroy Petit has been appointed CEO of Total Petrochemicals USA Inc. (Houston, TX) and VP of the company’s Base Chemicals business.  Total supplies polypropylene, polyethylene, polystyrene, styrene, base chemicals and transportation fuels. Petit previously was responsible for Global Strategy and Services for Total Petrochemicals in Brussels, Belgium.

Automation systems and robotics manufacturer Hekuma has hired Klaus Wanner as its new director of sales. He succeeds Bernd Bruckert, who has left the company. Wanner has worked as a project and a sales engineer for various machine manufacturers, with his last stop before Hekuma as sales manager at laser systems developer ROFIN/Baasel Lasertech. 

Downstream profile extrusion equipment and profile die manufacturer Greiner Extrusion (Nussbach, Austria) has hired Thomas Kornfeld as the new head of the company’s Project Sales unit, focused on sales in emerging markets.

Resin Technology inc. (RTi; Fort Worth, TX) has added Stacy Shelly as its new director of business development for engineering thermoplastics, PVC, and PS. Shelly comes to RTi after more than 20 years of work in the industry including General Polymers and Ashland Distribution company. RTi provides information and insight to help processors reduce resin expenses. [email protected]
