Intelligent Global Pooling Systems (iGPS Co. LLC; Orlando, FL), operator of the world’s first all-plastic pallet pool with embedded radio frequency identification (RFID) tags, announced earlier this month that following its close and ongoing collaboration with Houston, TX law enforcement officials and retailers in the region, the Houston Police Department’s Major Offenders Task Force conducted a raid on PA Pallets of Houston on March 26. During this raid, the owner of PA Pallets was arrested for grand theft and receiving, selling and possession of stolen property from a number of parties, including fast-moving consumer-goods retail customers of iGPS.

“We will continue our close collaboration with law enforcement officials, and retailers because we simply will not tolerate theft of our pallets,” said Ben Stoller, iGPS vice president. “We remain committed to diligently protecting our assets.” [email protected]
