Transporting parts from A to B, with precision

Shop floor designers can now draw conveyor systems to more precise dimensions with an improved 3D CAD modeling software from Dorner Mfg. Corp. (Hartland, WI).

Lengths can now be drawn in 1/8-inch increments to better fit application designs, whereas the vendor reports that most other conveyor 3D CAD modeling software only allows users to draw in 12-inch increments. Belt cleats can be spaced in any increment, while drive shaft can be shown in multiple positions. An expanded list of accessories for mounting on the conveyor, meanwhile, gives engineers more realistic and accurate CAD models of their application. The software is applicable to all of Dorner’s major conveyor platforms. [email protected]
