The Easy2 System for managing automated materials handling systems from Piovan is modularly designed for expansion as a facility grows. It can handle up to eight conveyance systems, including outdoor silos, storage stations, dryers, automatic or manual distribution stations, and more?up to 54 different elements. Designed to handle any type of molding plant, Easy2 can communicate with any plant supervision system in real time. The standard control module includes an extended keypad with a high-definition LCD screen that manages the entire network. The user can visualize all stations in the system, and zoom in on any particular section.

Faster microprocessors improve the performance over the previous Easy system, and Easy2 can deal with 47 material receivers. Piovan has also introduced a newly designed Automatic Coupling System (ACS) as part of Easy2. Designed with no flexible hoses, the ACS can rotate in either direction to cut the time needed to select and convey material. Price was not given.
