The coolest things at NPE2015

NPE2015 may not be the greatest show on Earth—the Germans might take issue with that—but it came damn close! In terms of sheer size, this year's five-day event, which ended on Friday, is the second largest trade show in the United States, after the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

Needless to say, there was plenty to see and countless plastics-related technologies vying for attendees' attention. The PlasticsToday editorial team has put together a slide show highlighting some of what we consider to be among the coolest stuff on view. Clare Goldsberry was smitten by the fully-finished Shelby Cobra pictured below. It's the first full-sized 3D-printed electric car. Created with materials from Techmer PM, other participants in this beta car were Oak Ridge National Laboratories, Cincinnati Inc. and TruDesign. The car was featured at Techmer PM's booth at NPE2015.
