Custom hot runners in four weeks

PF_Synventive.gif
Appreciating the compressed time schedules its customers are facing, hot runner manufacturer Synventive Molding Solutions will now deliver standard and custom configurations of its new Kona XP systems in four weeks. In addition to off-the-shelf systems, the new program promises four-week delivery of custom designs ranging in complexity from straight bars to the largest, most involved multileg systems found in automotive applications. Synventive says it can offer sequential valve-gate lines in four weeks or systems with wire-guard configurations. The only variations ruled out are those for stack molds or designs that feature mold plates, but Synventive says those can be delivered in six weeks.

Introduced at NPE 2003, the Kona XP line promises temperature uniformity thanks to heat pipe technology and design flexibility through a multizone manifold. Large and small parts are possible, and molders can choose from thermal-, valve-, sequential valve-, or reverse-gated systems.
