Digital indicators fit wide range of functions

A new series of digital indicators, including the REX-AD, REX-AC, and REX-DP, has been designed for three different function levels.

The AD410 is a powerful microprocessor-based digital indicator with a 20-mm LED readout. It is available as a 1/8 DIN horizontally mounted unit and offers user-scaled displays with universal input types, up to six programmable alarms, analog retransmission, digital inputs, and RS-422 or RS-485 communications. The AD410 is available for use as either a high- or low-limit controller to remove power in over or under temperature conditions. The indicator will also monitor and display peak values as well as the period of time while in the alarm condition. With the digital communications feature of the AD410, it can be used in conjunction with a PC, chart recorder, or data acquisition system via an analog retransmission output.

The AC410 and 110 group features programmable inputs like thermocouple, RTD, voltage, current, and user-scaled ranges. The AC group has up to four programmable alarms that can be used as limit controller or hold function. The third group of indicators is the DP 410 and 110, which provides basic temperature monitoring. These indicators come in two sizes: 1/16 DIN and 1/8 DIN horizontal mounting.

An SP-4 selector switch is available so that measurement values of more than one point can be displayed on a single indicator. Up to 15 SP4s can be connected to one indicator and will interface with any indicators in this series. Each unit carries a three-year warranty and can be shipped from stock. The AC410 lists at $350, the DP410 lists at $235, and the AD410 ranges from $375 to $399. The AC110 lists at $280, and the DP110 lists at $210.
