Article-E-shots Web-exclusive: Gammaflux extends warranties

Hot runner temperature control system manufacturer Gammaflux LP (Sterling, VA; www.gammaflux.com) has extended its two-year warranty program on LEC and TTC product lines to five years, effective Sept. 1, 2007. The company says this is the longest warranty for hot runner temperature controls in the industry. An exception to the five-year warranty on the TTC line is the touch-screen interface, which keeps its two-year warranty. “This warranty gives our customers even more confidence that we're there to support them for the long term,” says Gammaflux's director of market development Mike Brostedt.

The company has reaffirmed its commitment to customer service (see http://www.immnet.com/articles/2007/October/3353) since Husky's (Bolton, ON; www.husky.ca) acquisition of Moldflow's Manufacturing Solutions Unit, which includes Altanium hot runner controls (see http://www.immnet.com/articles/2007/August/3303). Husky has said for time being, it will continue to support Gammaflux hot runner controls as well.
