Electric Hot KnifeSeparates Molded Parts From Runners

0501/pn-6The Hot Tool HK-60 is an electric hot knife that is designed to separate injection-molded parts from runners without shears, knives or razor blades. This is said to eliminate squeezing or cutting pressure being applied by the operator, which can contribute to carpal-tunnel syndrome.

The hot knife has a wooden handle that stays cool because the heating element is directly under the copper blade tip. The unit heats up to 1050 F in under a minute and weighs less than an ounce.

Unit sells for $54.95 and comes with a resharpenable tip; replacement tips are $13.95.
