Formulated with a low sodium content to reduce contamination, the new E grade Peek polyaryletherketone polymer has been added to Victrex USA?s line of high-performance engineering thermoplastic. As a result of lower ionic levels, the polymer is reportedly tough, reliable, and dimensionally stable. Additionally, it?s said to feature good resistance to stress from chemical, mechanical, and planarization processes, as well as Etch chamber gases. The polymer is suitable for use in clamp rings, retaining rings, screws, and hardware. It is priced at $44/lb.
