Leadership Changes at Reifenhäuser

After more than 25 years, Ulrich Reifenhäuser has stepped down from his position as chief sales officer (CSO) of the Reifenhäuser Group. He is succeeded by Marcel Perrevort, who has been with the plastics extrusion company based in Troisdorf, Germany, for more than 10 years, most recently as managing director of Reifenhäuser Blown Film. Eugen Friedel was named to replace Perrevort at Reifenhäuser Blown Film, which he will lead as part of a dual management team alongside Dr. Andreas Neuss.

The change in leadership, effective July 1, was announced via a press release today.

Commenting on the decision, the family-owned machinery and plant manufacturer said it “is consistently continuing the already initiated generational transition in its management structure.”

"I am very much looking forward to my new role as CSO and the associated task of strengthening our leading position in the market,” said Perrevort in a prepared statement. “One focus will certainly be the further expansion of our international sales and service units, which will enable us to become even more customer-centric in the market."

"I have been working with Marcel Perrevort for many years now,” commented Ulrich Reifenhäuser. “He knows our business like the back of his hand. Knowing that I am passing the position on to a competent person makes it very easy for me."

Friedel a more than 25-year veteran of the company

Friedel, who has a degree in business administration, has held various sales positions at Reifenhäuser Blown Film for more than 25 years, most recently as sales director. In addition to focusing on sales, he is also responsible for product management and purchasing within the dual management team.

Ulrich Reifenhäuser will continue his work in associations and committees within the plastics industry and will remain at the disposal of the Reifenhäuser Group as a representative and consultant with adjusted work hours, said the company.
