Guill Tool (West Warwick, RI) has announced immediate availability of a new die cart that can be easily disassembled and reassembled. It includes a high-volume, adjustable center accumulating crosshead designed to produce a smooth linear bore and provide jacketing over various substrates. The crosshead’s maximum through core is 18 inches and the maximum die inner diameter is 23 inches. Built to handle thermoplastic applications, the crosshead includes tooling and isolation sleeve design.
Additionally, the tooling section features quadrant heating. The crosshead stand is equipped with an integral alignment station and concentric role guide. The stand also serves as an integral cleaning station, so clients don’t need to remove the crosshead for cleaning. Lastly, the crosshead has on-the fly catenary adjustment and can be easily maintained with simple hand tools.
