The GraviScan 2000 gravimetric weight and throughput measurement system measures material weight/length and weight/time for the extrusion industry. Coupled with a DataPro process controller, the system provides closed loop control of the extrusion process, including automatic calibration of an ultrasonic wall-thickness gauge. With the system, manufacturers of any extruded product are said to save material and make higher quality and more consistent product.
The unit has a weigh hopper volume of 5.28 gal (20 liters), a throughput capacity of 11 to 550 lb/hr for the Model SH and 66 to 2094 lb/hr for the Model LH, with an operating temperature of 50 to 120F.
