A line of vertical rotary grinders used to recycle industrial waste operate at 120 rpm, offer 30,000 ft-lb per inch of torque, and have noise levels of 80 to 85 dbA. Features include the heavy-duty all-steel construction and thick sidewalls; a rotor shaft with solid steel disks (each pocketed to accept three knife holders); CNC-machined scalloped rotor knives that are six times indexable with a 180° rotation for easy maintenance; a solid, one-piece forged steel shaft; a heavy-duty steel hopper and ram; and solid-state PLC controls that monitor and control all functions. Optional features include a magnetic separator and shake or belt conveyors.
The grinders are engineered to cut through many materials, including rigid PVC. Material is ground into high-quality chip for feeding back into the production process.
