The NBF40-56X 9-layer die head processes high-barrier film packaging for medical and pharmaceutical products, sensitive foodstuffs, and thermoform tray thin sheet.

The 9-layer die head NBF40-56X offers a high degree of flexibility in the layer distribution and gives product developers working on new formulations leeway to integrate different materials to benefit product protection. The output rate is between 350-500 kg/hr for die diameters between 400 and 600 mm. The die head is laid out for 600 bar and offers short melt residence times combined with good layer distribution, says the manufacturer.
