Hot runner components for both standard and custom requirements are now engineered and available in North America from Hasco. Under the program, a local team of application engineers works with processors to review requirements and find cost-effective hot runner designs that can be manufactured and delivered quickly. A wide variety of nozzle configurations are available to fit current molding applications. Part weights as small as .5g to as much as 1500g are within the systems? capabilities. Systems can process a variety of resins, from commodity grades through high-heat engineering materials with narrow processing windows. The company has also designed components specifically with color change in mind. Standard gate inserts are readily replaceable and are available from stock. Manifolds and hot halves are designed, built, and serviced in North America.
