Husky invests in its hot runners

Banking on greater demand for its hot runner systems, Husky Injection Molding Systems Ltd. (Bolton, ON) made a number of moves recently to continue the growth (15% CAGR) seen in its business in this segment over the last five years. One move is the promotion of Dinesh Budapanahalli, formerly general manager of tooling operations in Asia, to VP, service and sales, global hot runners and tooling.

(Bolton, ON) made a number of moves recently to continue the growth (15% CAGR) seen in its business in this segment over the last five years. One move is the promotion of Dinesh Budapanahalli, formerly general manager of tooling operations in Asia, to VP, service and sales, global hot runners and tooling. Other steps in Asia are the expansion of Husky’s technical center in Yokohama, Japan to include the manufacture of hot runner systems and the third expansion of the company’s Shanghai technical center. Hot runner manufacturing capacity will be expanded at the center in São Paolo, Brazil, and Husky will open a new facility in Chennai, India.
