A new round fine centering system recently launched for moldmaking applications

A new round fine centering system that reportedly provides highly accurate backlash-free mold alignment is now available from Agathon Machine Tools. The company says the patent pending system provides shorter cycle times, highly accurate radial bearing side lock, high durability for mass production applications and high initial load capacity and lower total costs. The new design allows for pre-centering of the mold halves for a gentle and synchronous close so injection molded parts are removed without any damage. The round fine centering system features no noticeable wear and can be used in clean rooms as well as high precision multi cavity molds.

In addition, the round fine centering system is heat resistant up to 150 degrees C or 302 degrees F.
