On Sept. 3, 2019, Charlie Rogers assumed his new position as President of plastics machinery and processing systems manufacturer Krauss-Maffei Corp. in Florence, KY. He succeeds Paul Caprio, who left the company at the beginning of June after 25 years. Rogers reports to Michael Ruf, COO of the KraussMaffei Group GmbH, based in Munich.
Rogers has 20 years of manufacturing industry experience and also brings expertise in European business. Most recently, he was Vice President and General Manager at John Bean Technologies Corp., a U.S.-based food machinery and airport equipment company. Rogers holds a bachelor’s of mechanical engineering degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
“We are pleased to have found an experienced manager in Charlie Rogers, who will use his expertise to expand our U.S. business,” commented Ruff.
